Waterfall House is a traditional 18th century Irish farmhouse set in the heart of West Cork's picturesque, unspoiled countryside.
Its central location and proximity to Cork City and Airport make it a perfect base for exploring the West Cork region, or as a destination in itself for those seeking an authentic, first-hand experience of a working Irish farm, where life moves in harmony with the seasons, as it has done for generations. |
While continuing to operate their family farm, your hosts, the O'Donovans have also cultivated a tradition of hospitality, welcoming visitors from far and wide for more than 40 years, with many guests returning year after year.
Tim and Abina, your hosts at Waterfall House, are proudly carrying on the traditions started by Tim's mother, Kathleen and father, Denis (Sonny) O'Donovan. In addition to welcoming you to relax and get away from it all in their rural retreat, Tim and Abina are delighted to offer interested guests the opportunity to learn more about Irish culture, and even gain hands-on experience helping out on the farm, from herding the cattle to feeding newborn calves.
